The mountains of Atakor.

To the heart of the Hoggar, the massif of the Atakor is constituted of peaks among the highest of the Sahara, Tahat 2910 m, Ilamane 2760 m and Assekrem 2728m. It is between these natural citadels, by paths caravaniers that the trailer advances, until the wadi of greenery named Amsa. Program

1st day : Welcome to the airport of Tamarasset by our team touareg. Dépard in 4X4 way the mountains of the Hoggar. the chameliers and camels wait for you toward Akar-Akar, meeting with your mates of journey and the trailer starts. Night in bivouac.
2nd day : You cross the Tageleft wadi, where is dug of the anbankors (points of water), around you declines itself an ocher and black rocky world. You are on the territory of the nomadic daghali, main vassal group of Hoggar. Arrived to the superb guelta of Afiale where you can cool off. Night in bivouac.
3th & 4th day : The ascension becomes more important, outlook thickens on the valley of Dalag In that drains the waters of the Atakor. L' Assekrem (2728 m), you go up to the hermitage where home a small community of Christian fathers, successors of Charles of Foucauld. You assist to the sunset on the massif of the Atakor. Bivouac.
5th day : Return by Timaktine, way only accessible to feet or to camels. Sites of paintings and rupestrine engravings. Bivouac.
6th day: The camels now borrow, to the foot of the Taessa mount, the torrent of greenery that is the Amsa wadi. Pause to the shade of the myricas and palms. In the evening to the bivouac, around fire, animated discussions and steaming tea beverage.
7th day: The trailer ends where the Amsa wadi dies himself. After Tileft, you recover the 4X4 for one court transfer on Tamanrasset. Free afternoon. Possibility to visit the city and the market. To dine and night to the camp.
8th day: Last morning in Tamanrasset then transfer toward the airport for the embarking.
